Kindness

At Lombard Middle School, Kindness Month is more than just a theme—it’s a movement powered by possibility. This year, thanks to the creativity and dedication of Mrs. Katie Davis, 6th grade ELA teacher, students took part in a meaningful project designed to spread joy and kindness throughout our school.

With support from Cooks and Company, students selected a staff member who has made a difference in their lives, wrote a heartfelt card, and delivered a beautiful bouquet of flowers to brighten their day. The simple yet powerful gesture left smiles, tears of joy, and lasting memories across our Zephyr community.

These moments matter! When students take time to notice, appreciate, and celebrate others, we’re shaping not only stronger relationships in our school but also compassionate leaders for the future.

Kindness Month reminds us that kindness is contagious—one act can inspire another, creating a ripple effect of positivity. By recognizing the impact our staff has on students and celebrating those connections, we continue to build a school culture where every person feels valued and seen.

At Lombard, our Zephyrs know that kindness doesn’t cost a thing, but it means everything.

Imagine the impact. Believe in the good. Become the difference.
