If you have ever moved before, you know that it is not an easy endeavor. There are many tasks to complete and sometimes within a very short timeline. To prepare for the upcoming move to their new facility at 264 West Main Street., the Galesburg Public Library contacted CUSD #205 for some assistance.
Lombard Middle School students loaded up on school buses this morning and upon arrival at the library's current location, 40 East Simmons Street., they formed a line/chain that extended from the current location to the brand new building on Main Street.
Over 450 youth/young adult books were passed through the hands of students, staff and community members during a beautiful March day in Illinois. It was great to see the involvement of multiple facets of the community help fill the shelves of the new library.
