Come join the Lombard staff for our first family Science Night this Thursday from 5:30-7:00! We cannot wait to see you there!

Today, the Lombard 5th and 6th grade students had the opportunity to see the Bluegrass Band, Monroe Crossing. The performance was sponsored by the Knox College Nova Singers. During the performance, the students had the opportunity to hear Bluegrass Music and learn about the history of Bluegrass and their instruments. They will be performing Saturday evening at 7:30pm at the First Lutheran Church along with The Nova Singers. Students also received a voucher that gives them and one adult free entry into the concert.

Save the date! Lombard Middle School is hosting a Family Science Night!

To boost spirits during our tests we have
chosen specific theme days for the week of March 28-April 1

This is a reminder that our students will get out 1 hour early on Wednesday, Dec. 22.

The District has been working closely with GPD to investigate the threats that have been widely shared via social media. At this time, these threats appear to be part of a larger string of threats aimed at schools throughout the state and nation. While we believe these threats are not directed at Galesburg CUSD #205 schools, we will take measures to ensure student and staff safety. Entrance to schools tomorrow will be monitored by GPD and searches will be conducted as needed. As always, if you wish to keep your child at home, this absence will be excused as long as you call your student in to report the absence.

This is a reminder that there is no school tomorrow. School will resume on Monday, November 29. We hope all our families, staff, and students have a Happy Thanksgiving.
